에세이 콘테스트 (이지원 / 중1)

1. In Philippine, There’s a statue of a young woman which people dislike. She’s a native Filipino who was in tribe located in nearby beach. She was an active, positive, and was a nice girl. But her like changed all of a sudden when there was a ship slowly reaching the shore. It landed at the shore when she was hiding in the woods hoping that nobody will see her for fear of getting killed. But instead, there were men lots of men who didn’t look like anything at all. There were blonde, pale Caucasian men wearing ill-fitting clothes, rags, and something long and pointy. She decided it’s time leave when she saw that long and pointy thing went “BAM!”. She went back to her house didn’t dare to tell anyone about this. When she went back, there was no on there. Latin they were European who came for gold, money and exploration. She became part of their team. And gave them tour of Philippines, explained and lead them to colonize the country, She helped and guided because they’ll be able to help and protect them. But now she has statues for “successfully” leading the explorers to their protection but people still call her the ‘girl who betrayed us all’ John Snowden and Julian. As Assange who leaked top secrets to the press are betraying the country. They are betrayers because they broke their promise to be quiet to the government and the nation; they didn’t try to find better ways to expose this, and is leading countries’ tension to rise.

Primarily, he broke his promise to not say anything related to their government secrets. As a former member of CIA which takes the secrets very importantly more than anything else. He broke promises of the agency ran by people’s taxes chief for tuning away from the people themselves secrets, even though it’s a bad one is meant to be kept. Even though you wish to expose it, it’s up to person who told it. If the owner of the secret, in this case the government, Snowden has no right to tell it since the government netrer allowed him to do so our tried to tell it by themselves. He’s been not doing his daty to his job.

 Secondarily, they didn’t try to find better ways to protect “human rights. (If that’s what they wanted)  They could’ve come up with a better plan. He should have figure out ways to persuade the government to stop invading human right. He could’ve talked to the president he could have even threat the government saying he could leave everything. He wasn’t needed to come out and leave it to the public. They should have figured it out by themselves with in their groups.

 Last but not least, it raising tension in the global society. Snowden fled to Russia but got trapped in Hong Kong airplane when the U.S government terminated his passport making him unable to leave the country. But Russia’s protecting him even though they know what he have done, with tensions slowly arising between Russia and the U.s along with other nations any groups. It may lead up to the third world war Edward Snowden Laker at U.S government secrets is betraying the country because he broken promise, didn’t fine better solution and rose tensions globally.

2. Ever since 4,000 years ago, Korea, China and Japan were really close geographically, historically and culturally. It was China who taught the Chinese characters to Japan and Korea who used it for long times before they invented their own letters, But there 3 musketeers weren’t cooperative all the time. It started when China come to attack Korea nipiry to gani more slaves and land. They tough all the time but thanks to wise Generals of Korea and the Korean people who sticked to gather and worked as a team, even to fight with the army trying their nevy best to help the war in any way possible. But Japan wasn’t nice either they came saying they want to conquer but the road to China can be enteled only by crossing the Korean peninsula, so they said no leading to war which continued for seven years on the land and on the ocean. But these three musruteers ses to negate better. Recently president Park-Geon-Hae went China to discuss Korea-China FTA, and was oletised in many ways from the Chinese people. Some issues that is on the agenda is illegal Chinese fishing ships in the Korean ocean, and the apologizing of Korean comfort woman during the world war Ⅱ when Japan was still owning Korea as colony.

Many fishers in Korea are getting effect by illegal fishing ships from China. They are not allowed to be fishing here but they are. Catching fish, making the Korean fishers suffer and sometimes they nave fight, When police gets a call and go to the place where the ships are instead of turning away, they use violence. About a year or six months ago, Korean police officer went on a fight with the Chinese ship captain. Some died. It’s believed that the Chinese captain killed him with a knife pushing the knife into the police officer’s left side of the waist so far no public statement has read made by the Chinese government.

 Japan and Korea’s comforting woman issues has nech going on forever Japanese said they apologized by saying It is a sorrow of blah. This made Korean people go nuts.  Just sorrowful after all they have done to innocent little girls? Every Wednesday t ris a demo with exisisty people from treat time infront of the Japanese umbassay.  It just reach logoth meeting but nothing has been said. Recently the statue symbolizing the comfore women loas terrorized by extreme Japanese protesters, They any trying to get up another in U.S but Japanese are protesting even harder than ever. Ever the U.S made memorials for this but Japan realy needs stop this before their next generations suffer, Korea should show China what the fishing ships are doing who they’ve nilled, maybe China and Korea should built up some sort of situation the con mara Chinese government unable to go against Korea. They should say strongly perhaps report this to UN or spread fake rumors that the area which the ships are is polluted with radar from Japan.

 Japan and Korea should keep the tension of this with other countries and international organization to out pressure because if tip whole global aciety are saying Japan needs apologize, they have no choice. They treat to make FTA with China and leave out Japan, pering their saled.
